Prof. Dusit (Tao) Niyato

Profile: Dusit Niyato is currently a President's Chair Professor in Computer Science and Engineering in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received B.E. from King Mongkuk's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand in 1999 and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 2008. Dusit's research interests are in the areas of distributed collaborative machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), edge intelligent metaverse, mobile and distributed computing, and wireless  networks. Dusit won the 2011 IEEE Communications Society Fred W. Ellersick Prize Paper Award and the IEEE Computer Society Middle Career Researcher Award for Excellence in Scalable Computing in 2021 and Distinguished Technical Achievement Recognition Award of IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing 2022. Dusit is serving as Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, an area editor of IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, editor of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, associate editor of IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE Network, and ACM Computing Surveys. He was a guest editor of IEEE Journal on Selected Areas on Communications. He was a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Communications Society for 2016-2017. He was named the 2017-2022 highly cited researcher in computer science.He is a Fellow of IEEE and a Fellow of IET.

Prof. Shui Yu

University of Technology Sydney, Australia


Profile: Shui Yu is a Professor of School of Computer Science, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. His research interest includes Cybersecurity, Network Science, Big Data, and Mathematical Modelling. He has published five monographs and edited two books, more than 500 technical papers at different venues, such as IEEE TDSC, TPDS, TC, TIFS, TMC, TKDE, TETC, ToN, and INFOCOM. His current h-index is 66. Professor Yu promoted the research field of networking for big data since 2013, and his research outputs have been widely adopted by industrial systems, such as Amazon cloud security. He is currently serving the editorial boards of IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials (Area Editor) and IEEE Internet of Things Journal (Editor). He served as a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Communications Society (2018-2021). He is a Distinguished Visitor of IEEE Computer Society, and an elected member of Board of Governors of IEEE VTS and IEEE ComSoc, respectively. He is a member of ACM and AAAS, and a Fellow of IEEE.

Prof. Jun wu

Waseda University, Japan


Profile: He is the chair of IEEE P21451-1-5 Standard Working Group. He has published more than 200 papers, including 13 ESI highly cited papers. He has hosted and participated in a lot of research projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NFSC), Japan Society of the Promotion of Science Projects (JSPS), etc. His research interests include the intelligence and security techniques of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G/6G, molecular communication, etc. He has been the Track Chair of VTC 2019, VTC 2020, VTC 2023 and the TPC Member of more than ten international conferences including ICC, GLOBECOM, etc. He has been a Guest Editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation, IEEE Sensors Journal, Sensors. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Networking Letters. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.

Prof. Jiawen Kang

Guangdong University of Technology, China


Profile: Jiawen Kang is a Full Professor at Guangdong University of Technology. He was a postdoc at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 2018 to 2021. His research interests mainly focus on blockchain, metaverse, edge intelligence, security and privacy protection, etc. He has published around 100 research papers in leading journals and flagship conferences including 10 ESI highly cited papers and 3 ESI hot papers. He is the co-inventor of 15 granted patents and has won IEEE VTS Best Paper Award,  IEEE Communications Society CSIM Technical Committee Best Journal Paper Award, IEEE Best Land Transportation Paper Award, IEEE HITC Award for Excellence in Hyper-Intelligence Systems (Early Career Researcher award), and 10 best paper awards of international conferences (e.g., WCNC 2020) as well. He is listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists identified by Stanford University. He is now serving as the editor or guest editor for many leading journals including IEEE JSAC, TNSE, ISJ,  and  has also severed as the Co-chair of ICC Workshop, WCNC Workshop, ICDCS Workshop, Globcom 2021 Workshop, and HPCC Workshop, etc. He is a vice-chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Cognitive Networks Special Interest Group on "Wireless Blockchain Networks".

Dr. Zhaohui Yang

Zhejiang UniversityChina


Profile: Zhaohui Yang is currently a ZJU Young Professor with the Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Information Processing Communication and Networking, College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, and also a Research Scientist with Zhejiang Laboratory. He received the Ph.D. degree from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Center for Telecommunications Research, Department of Informatics, King’s College London, U.K. From 2020 to 2022, he was a Research Fellow at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London, U.K. His research interests include federated learning, joint communication, sensing, and computation, and semantic communication. He has received from the IEEE Communication Society two paper awards including the 2023 IEEE Communications Society Marconi Paper Award and 2023 Young Author Best Paper Award. He was the Co-Chair for international workshops with more than ten times including IEEE ICC, IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE WCNC, IEEE PIMRC, and IEEE INFOCOM. He is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Machine Learning in Communications and Networking, IEEE Communications Letters, IET Communications, and EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking. He has served as a Guest Editor for several journals including IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications.

Assoc. Prof. Yuan Wu

Profile: Dr. Yuan Wu is currently an Associate Professor with the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City, University of Macau. He received his Ph.D. degree in electronic and computer engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2010, From 2016 to 2017, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada. Dr. Wu’s research interests focus on wireless communications and networking, mobile edge computing and cloud computing, and edge intelligence. Dr. Wu was a recipient of the Best Paper Award from the IEEE International Conference on Communications in 2016, the Best Paper Award from IEEE Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing in 2017, and the Best Paper Award from IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference in 2023. Dr. Wu is currently on the editorial boards of several international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, etc. Dr. Wu is a Senior Member of IEEE.
